bio

My name is Grace, I am a 2017 graduate from James Madison University (JMU), nestled in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley and surrounded by the Blue Ridge Mountains. In my time at JMU, I studied in both the Hart School of Hospitality and College of Business, working toward my Bachelor's of Science in Hospitality Management with a minor in General Business.

Hospitality has been a huge aspect of my life since I was young. I have always been involved in the planning and hands-on parts of execution for all the events I have had the privilege to be a part of.

I currently work for the Center for the Advancement of Sustainable Energy (CASE) at JMU as the Events and Communications Manager. My work focuses on maintaining the CASE social media accounts, sending out newsletters with resources for STEM educators, and organizing events that spread awareness of sustainability, renewable energy resources, and STEM education.

In my free time I enjoy performing with the Masterworks Chorus of the Shenandoah Valley, as well as producing a podcast with my partner. I spend most of my downtime enjoying Virginia wines and snuggling up with my cats.
